Celebrate Swansea – the Welsh arts city by the sea
We’ve always know that Swansea, Wales’ city by the sea, is a very special place. That’s why we were delighted to come home to Gower to set up our holiday rental accommodation at Bayview, Oxwich. We knew that we’d have the best of both worlds on our doorstep: the tranquillity here at Bayview and the buzz of the city only a twenty-minute drive away.
Celebrate #GreatBritishMenu at Beach House Restaurant, Oxwich
We are delighted here at Bayview, that fabulous chef, Hywel Griffith, of the acclaimed Michelin Star Beach House Restaurant right here on the beach front at Oxwich, made it through to the final of #GreatBritishMenu 2021. We were cheering him on every step of the way through this iconic BBC television show.

Gower Unearthed
Our guests here at Bayview, Oxwich are often asking us to point them in the direction of Gower’s hidden face – the wealth of history and culture that exists in the peninsula alongside the miles of sandy beaches and dramatic limestone cliffs that it is famed for. Television viewers in Wales will be familiar with Derek Brockway – Derek the Weather – for his daily appearances on BBC Wales outlining what’s in store for us with the weather. Exploring Gower on horseback

Pennard Golf Club Gower – the links in the sky
Sometimes it’s good to remind ourselves, and our visitors, at Bayview, Oxwich, just how highly Wales rates as a destination for world-class golfing experiences.
