On 9th February, 2024, the much-anticipated Big Wheel attraction now sited at Mumbles Pier opened its carriages to those eager to see Mumbles and Swansea like never before!
The unique experience offers guests 360 degree views of Mumbles Lighthouse, Bracelet Bay and Swansea Bay in this brand new way to connect with what is one of the most spectacular coastlines in the UK.
Already the Big Wheel is a great success and being called ‘The Mumbles Eye’ on a par with the thrill of experience offered by the London version! And our very own Mumbles Big Wheel has some very impressive stats:

What’s more, the experience is fully inclusive and open to the young and the young at heart and is wheelchair and pushchair-friendly. It is also priced competitively: £6 for adults of 15+; £4 for kids under 14; £15 for a family ticket; and, £5 concessionary tickets. The Big Wheel is open Monday-Friday from 12.00-21.00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00- 22.00.
The Victorian village and Pier of Mumbles have long been hits with our guests to Bayview because of great beaches, shops, cafes and all-round fun experiences. Now with the Big Wheel at the Pier, we have yet another reason to signpost visitors to Mumbles. And it’s just a 25-min drive away with plenty of nearby parking on arrival.
