Swansea Iron Man 70.3 2023

The countdown has already begun for Swansea and Gower’s Iron Man 70.3 taking place on 16th July, 2023. Registration is open and early registration before 26th December, 2023 guarantees fee-free transfers and partial refunds.

Early booking is recommended for this popular event where ‘outstanding athletes meet the outstanding natural beauty’ of Swansea (Wales’ city by the sea) and the glorious coastal and countryside scenery of the Gower peninsula, the UK’s first ever area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB).

Early booking is also recommended if you’d like to stay in one of our exceptional luxury holiday rental properties at Oxwich, as they’re filling fast. Set in private grounds, our 3 architect-designed contemporary Gower cottages and 2 fabulous apartments, offer stunning views across coast and countryside and a safe haven for you and your family and freinds. So if you’re an athlete or a supporter, Bayview makes an ideal base for a special weekend. Or stay even longer and make a week of it!

The course for the swim, bike and run is incomparable:

  • The one-loop 1.2 miles swim begins at the Prince of Wales Dock at Swansea’s stunning Marina and foreshore

  • The one-loop 56-mile bike course starts in the gorgeous Victorian village of Mumbles and continues along roads that hug Gower’s magnificent coastal clifftops and then to rural Swansea and back along Swansea’s sweeping bay to the city centre

  • The two-loop 13.1 mile run begins in Swansea’s city centre passing the iconic brand new golden Arena towards Mumbles and then loops back to the Marina
