At the risk of being boring, Bayview Oxwich is yet again delighted (and not surprised) that our near and dear, Three Cliffs Bay, has made the prestigious 2026 list of the UK’s Top 50 beaches complied by The Times and The Sunday Times.
Gower Walking Festival – the countdown begins!
The countdown has already begun for the return of the annual Gower Walking Festival. It’s just two months to go before the 9-day event running this year, from Saturday 5th September to Sunday 13th September.

We’ve recently celebrated a big birthday for our very own Gower peninsula. On 9th May, we took time to count our blessings for the world class countryside on our doorstep as we recognised Gower’s 70 years as the UK’s first ever designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB 1956).

Gower Coast Path – Rotherslade to Limeslade upgrade!
It’s sometimes worth reminding ourselves at Bayview Oxwich that Wales has the accolade of having the world’s first dedicated path to cover an entire country’s coast. Opened in 2012, the complete path is 1,400 kilometres long and runs from Queensberry in the north to Chepstow in the south.
